Nestled on 295 acres in East Texas, Wild Pines Ranch is a family endeavor born from a passion for quality animals and a love for the ranching lifestyle. We specialize in raising registered miniature longhorns and working Border Collies, focusing on excellent temperament and lineage.
We purchased the property that would become Wild Pines Ranch years ago. Since then, we have invested much time carefully building it into the place it is today. Our journey into miniature longhorns began with the desire for cattle that our grandkids could safely enjoy and one day raise themselves – animals that are docile and not aggressive, yet still embody the spirit of Texas.
As we were developing the ranch, we saw a clear need for skilled working dogs that could help us through daily life here as both companions and helpers. We quickly found a deep appreciation for the Border Collie breed and have since dedicated ourselves to raising intelligent, trainable, and good-tempered companions.
We are proud members of the American Border Collie Association and the Texas Longhorn Breeders Association of America , and all of our animals are registered with paperwork you will see before you buy.
